About MileVerdict

Points should not require a second language.

MileVerdict is a calculator-first guide to airline miles and transferable travel points. We built it for people who have points but do not want to become full-time award-travel hobbyists just to understand them.

Every calculator shows its math. Program rules are linked to sources and dated, because transfer partners, ratios and award rules change. Point valuations are estimates, not promises.

What we will not do

We do not ask you to make an account, connect a bank, or tell us your balances. There is no server to send that to - the calculators run entirely in your browser.

We do not search live award availability or book anything. We do not tell you that a seat exists, because we cannot know that. And we do not recommend credit cards based on your financial circumstances - we are not licensed to give financial advice, and a site that earns money from card referrals is not the right place to receive it.

How we think about being wrong

A transfer ratio is a dated fact, not permanent truth. A valuation is an estimate built from other people's bookings. We would rather show you a verification date and admit we have not checked something recently than present stale data as current.

Where we have no verified answer, we say so, rather than inferring one. That is why our points-to-airline tool will return “no supported path known” instead of guessing from alliance membership. If you think we are missing something, tell us and we will verify it.

Who runs this

MileVerdict is operated by EDW Ventures LLC, and is independent from the airlines, banks and loyalty programs referenced on the site. Program and company names are used only to identify the programs they belong to.

The site is free to use. It is intended to be supported by advertising once it has enough original content and traffic to qualify - see our disclosure page for how we handle that.
